Tea Time Photo Shoot

Nicole and I had a  chance to do a great photo shoot inspired by a garden tea theme. We have been planning a Tea Time photo shoot for some time now and finally got to put all our items and ideas together with some great vendors. And we had a lot of fun to!

We really wanted to thank all our wonderful amazing vendors that we have been so blessed to work with and honor them with this blog.

Thank you and here's to Tea!!!

First, we decided to use purples, golds, pinks, and greens as the main colors for the day.

Next, we decided what items we really wanted to include in our shoot. Such as using our DIY frames that we had worked on, bunting, a cute cake, and fun details like a pop of color on each plate by using a  pear.

Last, we paired up with some great vendors so that the day would go smooth and look great.

Please enjoy our photos below and check our our awesome vendors. We also want to thank our friend, Gina, for letting us use her great backyard.

We used our favorite florist, Bonnie, from Florals by Flory in Roseville, Ca.
She did a great job using bright wildflowers and incorporating them with the DIY tea tins and the DIY laced wine bottles that we made.

We used our sweet friend, Tamsin, from the Sweet Bambino in Roseville. Tamsin makes great baby clothes and other fun items and she made us the cutest bunting. The bunting was made with burlap and felt and she added some cute flowers as a fun detail.

We met with Sweet Cakes by Rebecca in Citrus Heights and showed them the type of cake we wanted and they did an awesome job making us exactly what we wanted, and it tasted great too! We highly recommend them!

Antique Peddlers Fair

Oh man, we went down the street here in Old Roseville browsing through the local Antique Peddlers Fair and there are so many fun things to see, by, and just get inspired by!

I loved the old chairs painted white or turquoise neat old frames painted and turned into jewelry holders or back drops for event table settings.

I have always wanted an old suitcase that has the cool old travel stickers on them, they had one there for 40 bucks I should have bought it.

You can display things in them, or use as house decor.  There's so many fun things you can do with Antiques.  I wish I had all my Mom's old stuff to revamp.  Like I need anymore projects...

Right now I am making my 2nd quilt ever.  Its a T shirt quilt for my brother who is in Iraq right now.  Its going to be his birthday or Christmas present, depending on when i get it done.  He loves to play volley ball so its all his old volley ball t-shirts that he needs to get rid of but doesn't want to totally dispose of them!  Pictures to come on the progress stay tuned!!
